How does CINEMANIA Online work?
As part of this 26th edition of the festival, we have created in collaboration with Festival Scope and Shift 72 a secure online viewing platform that we have called CINEMANIA ONLINE.

3 important information about the functioning of CINEMANIA ONLINE:
⇢ You can rent films and get an ONLINE PASSPORT on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform from now until November 22nd (last day of the online festival).

⇢ The Android app is now available via Google Play. Click here to download it.
1. Click on the "CINEMANIA ONLINE PLATFORM" buttons on our website to access our viewing platform.
2. Click on the "SE CRÉER UN COMPTE / CREATE ACCOUNT" button.
3. Fill out the form. Please note that your password must be at least 6 characters long.
4. Click on the "SOUMETTRE / SUBMIT" button.
1. Find and select the film you want to watch on the CINEMANIA website by clicking here.
2. Click on the "BUY TICKETS" button for the screening of your choice. You will be redirected to the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform, where you can also explore our programming.
3. Click on the "Louer / Rent $8.00" button on the film page of the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform.
4. Enter the requested information.
⇢ If you already have an account on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform, simply enter your email address, your password of 6 characters or more and your banking information.
⇢ If you don't have an account on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform yet, you will have to enter your email address and your name, create a password of at least 6 characters, and enter your banking information.
5. Click on the "Louer/ Rent" button.

Reminder: to get an ONLINE PASSPORT, you must have an account on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform (see the section "CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON CINEMANIA ONLINE").
1. Click here to access the "ONLINE PASSPORT" on our platform.
2. Click on the button "Louer / Rent $65.00".
3. Enter the requested information.
⇢ If you already have an account on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform, simply enter your email address, your password of 6 characters or more and your banking information.
⇢ If you don't have an account on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform yet, you will have to enter your email address and your name, create a password of at least 6 characters, and enter your banking information.
4. Click on the "Louer / Rent" button. You have the choice to watch the film immediately or later depending on the specific screening schedule.
1. Log in to your account on our CINEMANIA ONLINE platform by clicking here.
2. Click on "Ma bibliothèque / My Library". If you have an ONLINE PASSPORT, all the movies in our virtual offer are automatically added to your library. You can then navigate through the platform and select the film you wish to watch.
3. Click on the film you have rented and want to watch.
4. Click on the "Regarder / Play Now" button. Once you have completed this last step, you will have a 48 hours window to watch the film.

⇢ Each film is available for 48 hours from 6am on specific dates during the festival. For more details, check the schedule here. Short films in competition for the "Prix de la Critique AQCC-Nespresso" are available anytime.
⇢ You can watch the films on your giant screen, on your laptop or desktop computer, on your tablet, on your cell phone: your choice (see restrictions here) ! A maximum of 3 devices per account is possible.
Note that HDMI cable is the best option for streaming a movie from a computer, tablet or cell phone to a large screen.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON CINEMANIA ONLINE
To make a purchase and watch a movie, you must create an account on CINEMANIA ONLINE, our viewing platform.1. Click on the "CINEMANIA ONLINE PLATFORM" buttons on our website to access our viewing platform.
2. Click on the "SE CRÉER UN COMPTE / CREATE ACCOUNT" button.

WATCH A FILM
Reminder: to watch a film, you must log in to your account on the CINEMANIA ONLINE platform (see the section "CREATE AN ACCOUNT ON CINEMANIA ONLINE") and have rented the film or purchased an ONLINE PASSPORT (see the sections "RENT A FILM AT THE UNIT" and "BUY AN ONLINE PASSPORT").1. Log in to your account on our CINEMANIA ONLINE platform by clicking here.

What equipment do I need to watch CINEMANIA Online films at home?
You can purchase the films you want to see in our CINEMANIA Online programming and watch them with a computer, tablet or cell phone.
If you want to watch the movie on a big screen, the best way is to use an HDMI cable to connect your computer or tablet to your TV. Apple TV or Chromecast may also work, but only on certain devices.

Will I be able to see CINEMANIA Online without an internet connection?
No. It isn’t possible to purchase and watch the films in CINEMANIA Online if you are not connected to the internet.
Do I need to create an account on the CINEMANIA Online platform if I already have a CINEMANIA account?
Yes. You need your own account on our online platform CINEMANIA Online to purchase and watch films online.
Will it be possible to watch films from anywhere in the world?
No. The CINEMANIA Online programming is accessible only if you are physically on Canadian territory.
