For the competitive section dedicated to documentaries, a jury made up of four French professionals will be responsible to award the Prix Planète + for Best Documentary ($2,500 prize). This year, the initiative will be accompanied and sponsored by Me Rémy Khouzam, founder and partner of Lussier & Khouzam (a Montreal law firm specialized in arts and communications law).
Since 2021, CINEMANIA chooses the Documentary Jury's participants from the We Build Change class. Founded in Paris by Olivier Saby, this program is a "talent catalyst", which each year selects personalities involved in "reflecting on the evolution of models for francophone cinema". This program has two goals : help these young professionals develop their careers and ideas, and put their projects in the spotlight. But also to encourage innovation and reflection in order to tell new stories and inspire other players in the industry.
