For its 27th edition, CINEMANIA wanted to pay tribute to one of Quebec's most successful artist: Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette.
 

 
An Evening of Tribute in Three Parts:

> World premiere of the CINEMANIA-produced documentary ANAÏS BARBEAU LAVALETTE : PORTRAIT D’UNE CRÉATRICE (50 min), with director Kalina Bertin in attendance.



This portrait offers an unprecedented look at the work of the filmmaker through her films, both recent and older, as well as an exploration of her methods, sources of inspiration, life philosophy, projects and vision of cinema. On this occasion, Anaïs Barbeau Lavalette will join the actors of GODDESS OF THE FIREFLIES—Kelly Depeault, Caroline Néron, Éléonore Loiselle, Robin L’Houmeau, Antoine DesRochers, Noah Parker—who will each share their experience of working with the filmmaker and offer a glimpse into what makes her craft unique.

animated by Claudia Hébert, culture and film critic, Radio-Canada.
