Meet Romain Duris

During his visit to Montreal for the premiere of Une part manquante, Romain Duris will engage in a public conversation with audiences. Born on May 28, 1974, in Paris, Duris is celebrated for his versatility across a wide range of roles. First recognized by Cédric Klapisch in Le Péril jeune (1994), he rose to prominence with L’Auberge espagnole (2002) and its sequels. Duris explores various genres: comedy (Heartbreaker, Final Cut), drama (The Beat That My Heart Skipped), romance (Waiting for Bojangles), historical films (The Three Musketeers, Eiffel), and more recently, science fiction (The Animal Kingdom).
He also made a notable appearance in Ridley Scott’s All the Money in the World (2017). Charismatic and versatile, Duris is now an iconic figure in French cinema, collaborating with renowned directors and taking on memorable roles.
