The first highlight of the event showcases the Plan-séquence mentorship program — a unique initiative led by RACCORD that supports Francophone filmmakers from Canada’s minority communities in the creation of short films, feature films, and series. Excerpts from works produced through the program will be screened, offering a glimpse into the creative strength of a new generation of artists. A roundtable discussion will bring together professionals from various cohorts to share their experiences, expectations, the challenges they faced, and the tangible impact the program has had on their careers and projects. This conversation will shed light on the transmission of knowledge and the building of networks within the Canadian Francophonie.
