In eastern France, everything is dull for Anthony, who wanders through the cemeteries of the blast furnaces, symbols of the region's post-industrialization in the 1990s. He meets Stéphanie, a whirlwind romance that becomes his first love. He borrows his father's motorcycle to find her, leading to a morning that will change the course of his life. Ludovic and Zoran Boukherma adapt writer Nicolas Mathieu's work, enriching the author’s desire to evoke the bonds of friendship in adolescence and the timeless significance of first love with their own memories. It's a journey through the imagery and popular culture of the 1990s, already deliciously vintage. Paul Kircher, a wonderful reflection of River Phoenix in My Own Private Idaho, won the Best Actor Award at Venice.
