Mathieu and Vincent are complete opposites with few values in common, yet they share an unbreakable and intense friendship since one saved the other's life a few years ago. The tragic death of Vincent's mistress, killed by Mathieu, will turn this idyllic friendship into a nightmare. Yvan Attal steps away from the closed setting of Choses humaines to return to the thrillers in the form of a road trip that he loves. He revisits themes of manipulation and blind trust in an exploration of the almost romantic toxicity of friendship. The Attal/Canet duo creates palpable tension from scene to scene, reminiscent of Delon and Trintignant.
