Festival d'Avignon, summer 2021. Two of France's greatest actors, Isabelle Huppert and Fabrice Luchini, are filmed in their daily lives, facing their roles and their texts just before their performances. Behind the camera is filmmaker Benoît Jacquot (Farewell My Queen; Diary of a Chambermaid; Villa Amalia), who knows them well from having worked with them often, documenting their doubts, questions, and working methods. The result is a fascinating kind of "master class" on the actor's intimacy and the passion for the theater.
