Struggling with depression and writer's block, Pierre, a famous author, hires a gifted impersonator to handle his public calls. The impersonator eventually takes things too far, reshaping Pierre’s public image and unexpectedly reviving his will to live. Fabienne Godet crafts one of the most intelligent and heartwarming French comedies about improbable friendship since The intouchables. Salif Cissé is extraordinary, especially in mirroring Denis Podalydès’s expressions. Adapted from Luc Blanvillain’s novel, the film was a hit at L'Alpe d’Huez International Comedy Film Festival, where it won the Audience Award.
