The chronicles of the passionate love affair between Antonia, a press photographer, and a Corsican independence activist unfold in a romantic, political, and historical epic that covers the island's most fragile period at the end of the 20th century. Thierry de Peretti continues to navigate the political thriller genre, but this time adds the complexities of a love story and an exploration of field journalism, based on the adaptation by writer Jérôme Ferrari. The Corsican subject is sensitive enough to be rarely addressed in Francophone cinema, but the lack of bias allows Ferrari's story, brought to life by de Peretti, to become an apolitical symbol of a disenchanted generation.
