In 2007 and 2008, Juliette Binoche and choreographer Akram Khan collaborated on a dance performance exploring the body and movement. They toured the world more than a hundred times. Almost twenty years later, Binoche revisits that creation and its impact. For her first film as a director, she crafts a documentary as inventive as the original work. Using rare archival footage and performance excerpts, she examines the nature of artistic creation and the dialogue between disciplines.
