Through honest conversations with parents and new fathers, she investigates the roots of this phenomenon and the desire to redefine fatherhood. The result is a documentary that seeks truth and reconciliation while opening dialogue within the community.
The screening is followed by the discussion “Reconciling generations: toward a new Black fatherhood” with director Ayana O'Shun, experts and participants of the film (in French).
