Elsa, a palliative care doctor, confesses to her husband that she can communicate with the dead. As he leaves her, she represses her gift until she meets Oscar, a spirit unaware of his own death. Set against debates on end-of-life laws, Alice Vial’s first feature combines emotion and restraint. Magalie Lépine-Blondeau and Jonathan Cohen form an unexpectedly tender duo in a film that explores compassion, loneliness, and the invisible ties between the living and the dead.
