Camille, age 12, an aspiring circus performer, is the oldest among several siblings. Her parents abruptly join a rigidly strict Catholic Community, serious believers in sharing and in solidarity – they invest themselves totally in the cult’s practices. Camille is compelled to adapt to the Community’s lifestyle and code of conduct – her aspirations and social life are questioned and she soon rebels, reaffirming her personal independence and that of her siblings.
First-time feature director Sarah Suco is an accomplished actress and screenwriter. Her film stars Éric Caravaca and Camille Cottin of Dix Pour Cent fame (Call My Agent), and features camera footage by esteemed cinematographer Yves Angelo.
