A group of friends organizes a fabricated cruise for one of their own, hoping to manipulate him and extract funds, taking advantage of his romanticism and naivety. Bruno Podalydès continues to depict the foibles of daily life, relying on the absurd in a way that few filmmakers can make feel real. He once again surrounds himself with Denys Podalydès and Sandrine Kiberlain, who previously shared the madness of Les Deux Alfred—acclaimed at Deauville—but invites Daniel Auteuil into the mix for the first time, allowing him to revisit the comedic rhythm of his early films.
