Scenes from the daily lives of various winners of the grand French lottery—LOTO—and newly minted multimillionaires. Maxime Govare and Romain Choay reinvent the concept of the "sketch film," popular in French cinema of the 1950s (Sacha Guitry), using the artistic alibi of a comedy—very much written—to address topics too sensitive for traditional cinema (notably terrorism). Audrey Lamy returns with the energy and rhythm that captivated the Francophone audience in Scènes de ménages. It's a comedy with a philosophical tone, leaving the viewer to confront their own paradoxes surrounding money.
