Critically-acclaimed director Mia Hansen-Løve unfolds the captivating story of two young French journalists liberated after a 4-month hostage-taking in war-torn Syria. The younger of the two, 32 year old Gabriel (Roman Kolinka), after an exhausting day of debriefings and examinations finally manages a visit with his father and ex-girlfriend Naomi (Judith Chemla). A few weeks later, still unsettled by his incarceration, Gabriel decides to spend time in India where he grew-up and where his estranged mother still lives. He installs himself in his childhood home in Goa, the former Portuguese colony on India’s west coast, (now a tourist resort), and soon meets an Indian girl, Maya (Aarshi Banjerjee).
Maya, one of the most-anticipated films of 2018.
