Built on the Seine River in the heart of Paris, the "Adamant" is a facility that cares for adults with mental health issues, providing them with a therapeutic environment to help them reconnect with the world. The team running it is among those striving to resist the decay and dehumanization of psychiatry as much as they can. Recipient of the Golden Bear at the 2023 Berlinale, documentary filmmaker Nicolas Philibert invites us to board the "Adamant" and meet the patients and caregivers who invent its daily life day by day. It's a work of great human and cinematic mastery.
