Paris, 1894. Fanni claims to have voluntarily locked herself inside the Salpêtrière Hospital. While searching for her mother among the multitude of women believed to be "mad," she discovers a reality within the asylum vastly different from what she had imagined. As the final grand ball at Salpêtrière approaches, it becomes her last hope of escaping the tightening trap. For his eighth feature film, director Arnaud des Pallières (known for Orphan) collaborates with an all-star female cast, including none other than Mélanie Thierry, Marina Foïs, Yolande Moreau, and Carole Bouquet.
