ride

foils
the
codes
of
romantic
comedy
and
leaves
the
sparkling
Laetitia
Dosch
(Gaspard
at
the
Wedding),
as
well
as
the
charismatic
Pierre
Deladonchamps
(Stranger
by
the
lake,
Sorry
Angel)
all
the
space
necessary
to
charm
and
make
us
laugh.
This
second
film
of
Eve
Deboise,
following
Lost
Paradise
in
2012,
is
modest
in
its
means
but
succeeds
in
transcending
this
limitation
thanks
to
its
unexpected
screenplay
in
the
shape
of
a
wild
nighttime
investigation
carried
out
in
the
four
corners
of
Paris.
Deboise,
who
made
himself
known
for
the
filmmakers
Rithy
Panh
and
Maria
Medeiros,
visibly
amused
himself
here
and
his
desire
to
entertain
us
is
palpable.
