1993. Max (Max Boublil), at age 13 is offered his first video camera. For 25 years he cannot stop filming – his parents, his friends, his loves, his successes and his failures. The videos build into a portrait of an entire generation, and a record of Max’s love-life emerges, especially his conflicted and obsessional relationship with best friend Emma (Alice Isaaz). Parents are deftly played by Alain Chabat and Noémie Lvovsky.
Director Anthony Marciano creates a remarkably contemporary and bittersweet romantic comedy, a highly successful test-tube experiment in original filmmaking.
