Driven by the promise of a new life, Jessica, a 19-year-old Frenchwoman, travels to Syria to join ISIS. Upon arriving in Raqqa, she enters a house for future wives of fighters and quickly becomes a prisoner of Madame, the charismatic director who rules the place with an iron fist. This story of radicalization, seemingly irrational, is told from a unique perspective: a strange claustrophobic narrative following the daily lives of future wives, reminiscent of a "madame Claude" setup. Inspired by a true story and the Belgo-Moroccan Malika El-Aroud, known as the "Black Widow of Jihad," the film offers a relentless account of blind allegiance.
