In the pure tradition of his cinema, the renowned French director André Téchiné (known for films like Rendez-vous, I Don't Kiss, The Wild Reeds, Being Seventeen) presents a new narrative that meanders through time and seasons. David, a lieutenant in the French forces engaged in Mali, is seriously wounded. Repatriated to France, he suffers from amnesia and embarks on a lengthy convalescence under the devoted care of his sister Jeanne. In the family house in the Pyrenees, amidst mountains and lakes, the young woman tries to rekindle the memory of her beloved brother.
