Paris, a crowded subway, an ordinary evening. A woman bumps into a man, they argue. Soon, the electrical charge between them turns into burning desire. The night now belongs to them. In this Paris with empty streets and stretched-out hours, will they have to say goodbye? Closing film of the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes and reminiscent of Richard Linklater's classic Before Sunrise, Strangers by night is brought to life by the beautiful and talented duo of Alex Lutz and Karin Viard, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Hadrien Bichet.
