Pierre's life is turned upside down when one of his troubled sons is indoctrinated by far-right groups, while the other excels in his studies. The screenplay, adapted from writer Laurent Petitmangin, dissects the manipulation and control tactics used by political cults on vulnerable and impressionable individuals. It also provides a vivid portrayal of a father's despair, where love must prevail over his deeply held values. Vincent Lindon (Titane, The Measure of a Man) shines in this depiction of a man enduring hardship, facing a Benjamin Voisin (Summer 85) who is terrifyingly naive. Lindon won the Best Actor Award at the Venice Film Festival.
