Lydia is in her thirties, and her career as a midwife is going well, unlike her love life. Her lifelong friend, Salomé, announces that she is pregnant, and Lydia naturally supports her throughout her pregnancy. After the birth, she crosses paths with Milos, a former lover, while carrying Salomé's baby in her arms. Lydia leads him to believe that the child is theirs, and from this web of lies emerges the possibility of a new love. It's a psychological drama about torn souls willing to do anything to ease the pain of loneliness.
