Dramatically different worlds collide in this unusual thriller – a bourgeois family in a mansion in the middle of nowhere clash with slum-dwellers residing in the projects. Intermingled in this absorbing and intriguing mystery are a possible kidnapping, blackmail, and impossible love.

Director Thierry Klifa’s film noir features a stellar cast headed by Catherine Deneuve and French rapper Nekfeu in his film debut. Deneuve plays a mother trying desperately to save her daughter (Diane Kruger), from a questionable relationship. Klifa created “authenticity of place” by shooting the film on location in Occitanie, in the towns of Sete and Perpignan.
