Automobile executive Alain (Fabrice Luchini) is a Type-A personality – every minute of every day is programmed; there’s no time for family or recreational activities. A sudden stroke deprives Alain of coherent speech - intensive therapy is undertaken with a no-nonsense professional, Jeanne (Leïla Bekhti). It proves almost impossible for Alain to carry-on his all-consuming career, to his own consternation and that of his Chairman (Quebec’s Yves Jacques). Convalescence leads Alain to the realization that he’s missed-out on some rewarding aspects of life – is it too late to re-capture those lost moments?
Man in a hurry is altogether a heart-warming and amusing story with excellent production values. As always, Fabrice Luchini is a joy to watch!
