A mother has never been able to find closure following the death of her son, who died at 17 in a brawl. When she stumbles upon his assailant, just out of prison, she decides to hatch a plan for revenge. However, her determination starts to get riddled with doubts as she gets to know the young man. A sobering face-off about forgiveness and resilience, which once again shows the incomparable talent of multifaceted actress Karin Viard (recently seen in Polisse, Jealous and Tokyo Shaking). Director Sylvie Audcoeur, for whom this is a first feature film, is proud of her cinematic filiation to Claude Chabrol.
