The hilarious play by Gilles Dyrek that criss-crossed France and wowed audiences for over 10 years, has been brilliantly adapted to the big screen by first-time director/composer Elliot Covrigaru. It’s a highly -entertaining and cleverly -satirical piece, an acting ensemble tour -de -force loaded with witty dialogue.!
Christophe (Olivier Sitruk) and Patricia (the astonishing Juliette Arnaud) are a couple – he’s a failing playwright desperately seeking a backer for his next production and normally Patricia is his leading actress. Christophe’s last hope, an old school -chum preparing to marry his naive girlfriend, invites the couple for a weekend in the country. During dinner, fed -up with Christophe’s attitude, Patricia pretends to be an immigrant speaking a made-up Balkan language. Hysterical!
