Two women from vastly different social backgrounds cross paths one day in a prison visiting room, each visiting her partner, and they form a deep friendship to alleviate their respective loneliness. Patricia Mazuy continues to explore her vision of social feminism, drawing on the experience she gained working with Agnès Varda. Isabelle Huppert and Hafsia Herzi are supported by a script that feels almost like a spoken reading, while the direction also infuses the narrative with elements of a thriller and Hitchcockian suspense, inadvertently turning them into the femme fatales of their own destinies.
