Cédric Klapisch is a French director, screenwriter, and film producer. He goes to New York at the age of 23 to do a master's degree in a film school (Tisch School of the Arts, New York University) for two years.
Back in France in 1985, he began his career as an electrician on film shoots and then directed several short films. In 1991, he directed his first feature film Riens du tout. Since then, he has directed 14 feature films.
He participated in the launch of the TV series Dix pour cent as Art Director of the first season and directed two episodes (1 and 3). He is currently finalizing the series Greek Salad with Lola Doillon and Antoine Garceau (sequel to L'auberge espagnole), a co-production of Ce qui me meut and Amazon, which is expected to be released in the first half of 2023. He also directed several documentaries: Aurélie Dupont, l’Espace d'un instant, l'Élévation followed by a portrait Jusqu'au bout du haut.
