 Producer - Writer - Director
International Editor assistant at The Hollywood Reporter, then Executive Producer at Trinacra from 1994 to 1998, she created with Pierre Kubel LOMA NASHA and VENDREDI FILM.
They produced 13 feature films on the two companies. MONSIEUR N, TU VAS RIRE MAIS JE TE QUITTE, WAH-WAH, EMMENEZ-MOI, ZIM and CO, DÉSACCORD PARFAIT, JE CROIS QUE JE L’AIME, LA PREMIERE ETOILE, LE CAMELEON, BOWLING, MA PREMIERE FOIS, LES HERITIERS, LE RIRE DE MA MERE, LA DEUXIEME ETOILE. She created WILLOW FILMS in 2015, writes, directs and produces LE CIEL ATTENDRA, LA FETE DES MERES, COBY. With ELIPH PRODUCTIONS, she also produces CIGAR AU MIEL by Kamir Aïnouz ( CINEMANIA 2021, Venice 2020 in the Venice Days selection). Recently, she also produced and directed the film A GOOD MAN,  released in cinemas and selected for the Cannes Film Festival 2020. It won numerous awards, including the Jury Prize at the Lecce Film Festival and the Grand Prix at the Festival de la Francophonie de Bienne. She is simultaneously developing feature film and series within her company WILLOW FILMS, including L'ABANDON by Christian Sonderegger (COBY - ACID 2017) and CASSEROLA by Philippe Aractingi. Marie-Castille Mention-Schaar is the founder and president of the CERCLE FEMININ DU CINEMA FRANÇAIS, a group of female professionals in the film industry. Mother of two children, she is also « Officier des Arts et Lettres », « Chevalier de l’ordre national du Mérite » and « Citoyenne de l’armée de l’air française ».

EASY TIGER and ESTELLO FILMS are the producers of her latest feature film DIVERTIMENTO (2021) wich will be presented at CINEMANIA with also the presence of the Orchestra Conductor ZAHIA ZIOUANI.
