Monique Simard has been working in the cultural scene in Quebec and Canada for over 25 years. She has made a name for herself first in documentary film production, including numerous awards, and then as a director of public cultural institutions. She is currently Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Quartier des spectacles of Montreal, the largest cultural district in North America, as well as Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of the Fonds Québecor, an investment fund for French-speaking audiovisual content.
