Philippe Besson is a leading author who has published some twenty novels, including En l'absence des hommes, which won the Emmanuel-Roblès Prize, Son frère, adapted for the screen by Patrice Chéreau, l'Arrière-saison, La Maison atlantique, Un personnage de roman, Arrête avec tes mensonges, which won the Maison de la Presse Award and is currently being adapted for the screen, and Le Dernier Enfant.
