CINEMANIA is proud to promote French-language cinema and to reward its creators through 3 competitions this year.
⇢ Competition "Visages de la francophonie TV5" / $2500.00 grant award
⇢ Competition "Award for the Best Quebec Film or Co-production" / $2500.00 grant award
⇢ Competition "AQCC-Nespresso Critics Award" / 1500.00$ grant award
The "Mel Hoppenheim Audience Award" is back for a 22nd consecutive year.
Nearly 70 films from the program are in competition, and will be judged by our two juries as well as by you, the public!
⇢ The Francophone Youth Jury
This jury, composed of 10 members from the four corners of the Francophonie and chaired by Quebec actress Juliette Gosselin, will screen 13 feature films and determine the winners of the "Visages de la francophonie" competition and the "Award for the Best Quebec Film or Co-production" made possible by Michel Trudel.
⇢ The Short Film Jury
With the support of AQCC and Nespresso, Paul Landriau, Jason Béliveau and Ambre Sachet will focus on our new short film program with 26 films in competition.
