Film submissions open - CINEMANIA 32nd Edition

CINEMANIA’s 32nd edition is on its way! Submit your film now.

Every November, CINEMANIA invites audiences to dive into two weeks of cinematic discoveries on the big screen, from November 4 to 15, 2026. The festival features a diverse Francophone program, highlighting works from Quebec and around the world to celebrate the richness and diversity of Francophone cinema.

One of the festival’s highlights is the Grande Soirée du court québécois and the Grande Soirée des courts internationaux, which showcase emerging talents and present impactful, original films. Each year, CINEMANIA seeks films that reflect the richness and diversity of Francophone culture from around the world.

Once again this year, CINEMANIA is partnering with Regard - International Short Film Festival in Saguenay for the selection of international short films. The chosen shorts will be featured in two separate competitive evenings, with multiple awards at stake, providing valuable exposure for the filmmakers.

We invite all filmmakers to submit their short and feature films and join in the celebration of Francophone cinema. Share your work and be part of CINEMANIA’s 32nd edition !

SUBMISSION GUIDE

The following information must be provided with each submission : 

• A fully completed submission form
• A secure online screening link valid until the end of the festival, November 15, 2026
• Full payment of the submission fees

FILM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

The festival requires the following conditions :

• Short films under 30 minutes
• Primary languages : French (English subtitles appreciated)
• Works produced in 2025-2026 only
• Minimum premiere status : must be a Montreal premiere

SUBMISSION DEADLINE AND FEES

Shorts films (under 30 minutes) : 

• Early Brid (February 19 - May 5) : 35$
• Regular (May 6 - July 4) : 45$
• Late (July 5 - July 28) : 55$

Feature Films (over 60 minutes) :

• Early Bird (February 19 - May 5) : 45$
• Regular (May 6 - July 4) : 55$
• Late (July 5 - July 28) : 65$

*Taxes are not included. Please note that submission fees non-refundable.

*Payment must be made via PayPal. You can pay with PayPal without an account; a credit card is sufficient.

SUBMISISON DEADLINE : JULY 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM (UTC-5)

Applicants will be notified of their submisison status by September 2026.
