CINEMANIA AND AIR CANADA, 15 YEARS OF PARTNERSHIP

Published on 27/10/2025

This year, CINEMANIA celebrates 15 years of collaboration with Air Canada, a loyal partner supporting the Festival since 2010.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to promoting cinema and the French-speaking world, by helping to elevate Québec and francophone cinema on the international stage. Based in Montreal, Air Canada reaffirms its dedication to francophone culture by facilitating the presence of international artists for the Festival’s 31st edition, and by building cultural bridges between North America and Europe.

Since 2024, the airline has presented the Grand Prix du Public Air Canada, an emblematic award that celebrates the voice of the audience and their love of cinema. This prize reflects the shared belief that audience recognition is one of the most meaningful rewards for the artists and filmmakers whose work resonates with viewers.

Air Canada is also partnering with the closing film of the 31st edition, Les Enfants vont bien, directed by Nathan Ambrosioni.

The film stars Camille Cottin, Juliette Armanet, and Monia Chokri, and follows Jeanne, who is struggling to recover from a breakup when her sister suddenly reappears with her two children… only to vanish without a trace, leaving Jeanne alone to care for them.

Building on fifteen years of collaboration, CINEMANIA and Air Canada remain committed to bringing francophone cinema beyond borders and connecting audiences through film.
