The CINEMANIA Francophone Film Festival will celebrate its 31st edition from November 4 to 16, 2025. We’re looking for passionate volunteers to join our team!
CINEMANIA is your chance to discover over 60 films — including Canadian premieres, exclusive documentaries, international short films, and so much more. Join us for exciting evenings with prestigious guests, masterclasses with renowned filmmakers, and unique moments celebrating the art of cinema.
Whether you’ve just arrived in Montreal (student, working holiday visa, etc.), have lived here for years, or are simply a passionate film lover CINEMANIA invites you to be part of a major cultural event. Share your enthusiasm, develop new skills, and create unforgettable memories!
As a volunteer, you’ll play a key part in the success of the Festival. Your mission will include:
- Assisting with the overall organization of the event by welcoming guests and audiences in screening venues
- Ensuring the smooth running of special events
- Helping with the setup and takedown of installations
- Supporting our communication and outreach efforts
Being a volunteer at CINEMANIA is much more than just lending a hand — you’ll join a passionate and close-knit team, and contribute directly to the celebration of francophone cinema.
- For every shift completed, you’ll receive one free ticket to enjoy a screening of your choice and dive deeper into the Festival’s programming
- An exclusive CINEMANIA crew neck sweatshirt will be gifted as a souvenir of your participation
- After the Festival, you’ll be invited to a special volunteer appreciation party — with exciting prizes to be won!
An information session will be held at the end of October in one of the Festival’s iconic venues, to meet the team and your fellow volunteers
