With the exception of a special “Image de la Francophonie Canadienne” day at the National Film Board on November 8th, CINEMANIA Pro officially opened its doors for the third time from November 13th to 16th, 2024. A unique space where the most creative minds and major players in international French-language cinema meet.
Held entirely at Montréal's Cinémathèque québécoise, our audience was invited to take part in passionate and inspiring discussions at the crossroads of major creative, production and distribution issues. The program included conferences, private screenings, project presentations, thematic lunches and networking cocktails, - for example, the round table on the challenges of the serial format in festivals with Séries Mania, and the second edition of Regards croisés sur la comédie with realisators Franck Dubosc and Ken Scott.
CINEMANIA Pro welcomes a delegation of professionals from the global film industry, immersed in the heart of the Quebec industry... And this year, a record-breaking audience joined us for our entirely free professional activities. Over the course of five days, we offered 36 activities, welcomed 53 guests and attracted a total of 1,664 spectators.
