Alexis Comte is an actor and activist. A pioneering figure in the recognition of trans people in the early 2000s, he has shared his experience through conferences, interviews, and television programs (Tout le monde en parle, Denis Lévesque, Je suis trans). After 20 years working as an equipment maintenance attendant at McDonald’s and gaining experience supporting trans individuals at the Montreal Plastic Surgery Center, he made his film debut in 2025 with Juste Xavier. Approached by an actress from the production, he attended his very first auditions and successfully landed the lead role, allowing him to combine his personal story with his acting in a deeply authentic way. He is being introduced here for the first time on the big screen.
