Assma El Hadrami is a recognized figure on the Moroccan artistic scene. A graduate in Acting from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Art and Cultural Animation (ISADAC) in Rabat, she first distinguished herself through leading roles in numerous stage productions with the company L’Autre Rive. Her film and television career includes major roles in films such as Les Voisines d’Abou Moussa by Mohamed Abderrahmane Tazi, Argana and Janjah by Hassan Rihan, Kandisha by Gérard Cohen-Olivar, Dès l’aube by Jilali Ferhati, and Nomades by Olivier Coussemacq. She has also collaborated several times with Mohamed Nadif, notably on Andalousie, mon amour !, Les Femmes du pavillon J (for which she co-wrote the screenplay), and more recently L’Héritier des secrets. She will also appear in Mohamed Zineddine’s upcoming feature film Jusqu’à l’aube.
