Caroline Monnet is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist of Anishinaabe and French ancestry, originally from the Outaouais region, who lives and works in Mooniyang/Montreal. Her cinematographic work has been screened at numerous festivals around the world, including the Toronto International Film Festival (Canada), the Sundance Film Festival (Utah, USA), the Berlinale (Berlin, Germany), the Göteborg International Film Festival (Sweden) and the Rotterdam International Film Festival (Netherlands). Monnet was also selected for the Cinéfondation residency in Paris for the Cannes Film Festival, was the recipient of the Merata Mita fellowship from the Sundance Institute and was named Compagne des arts et des lettres du Québec.
