Elena Sturk-Lussier is a Francophone independent screenwriter, director, and filmmaker based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Her recent projects include the narrative short film Slurp, an erotic thriller made with an all-female and non-binary cast and crew, as well as the dramedy series Les faillites d’Astrid, currently in post-production with Radio-Canada. Elena was recently selected to present her feature film After the End at the Frontières coproduction market during the Fantasia Film Festival, and to participate in the RIFF Talent Lab.
