After beginning his career with several roles in international sales and distribution, notably at Bac Films and mk2 Films, Félix Chrétien contributed to the programming of the Cabourg Film Festival from 2017 to 2019. Following a brief stint with the association Passeurs d’images (formerly Archipel des Lucioles), where he coordinated school-based film education programs, 2022 marked a return to his first love when he took over as artistic director of the Cabourg Festival. Since 2022, he has also collaborated on the organization of the Angénieux Tribute, an award presented annually at the Cannes Film Festival to honor the career of a distinguished cinematographer. The most recent edition of the “Romantic Days” (Journées romantiques) was held in Cabourg from June 11 to 15, 2025.
