Jason Béliveau is the co-founder and programming director of Cinéma Beaumont, an arthouse cinema that opened in Québec City in 2023. Alongside this role, he programs the Québec short film competition at the Francophone film festival Cinemania and serves on the programming committees of the Regard Festival and the Québec City Film Festival. He also teaches film studies at Université Laval. In the past, he was editor-in-chief of the film magazine Séquences and a film critic for Nouveau Projet and Spirale. He also hosted the television show Projection libre on MAtv for two years.
