Biography

Loury Lag is a French extreme explorer, author, filmmaker, and speaker. After a turbulent youth, he transformed his destiny through adventure and became one of the few capable of pushing his limits in the most hostile environments on the planet. From the burning sands of the Sahara to the frozen lands of the Arctic, from Europe’s highest peaks to the Amazonian jungles, he has undertaken record-breaking expeditions, including a solo crossing of the legendary Northwest Passage in 77 days. His stories are shared through his books (Horizons extrêmes, Résilience), his documentary films, as well as on television, where he hosts adventure programs. A media figure and a source of inspiration, Loury embodies resilience, authenticity, and the spirit of surpassing oneself. He conveys a powerful message: to turn failure into strength and to prove that giving up is never an option.
