Biography

Holder of a master’s degree in Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Public Relations from the Université de Montréal, Manuela Goya most recently served as Secretary General of the Montréal Steering Committee, where she was responsible for mobilization efforts around the city’s cultural development and for coordinating several major initiatives shaping Montréal’s future. She has also worked as a senior advisor at the Ministry of Finance, focusing on files related to the Montréal region. Her expertise in communications and business development has benefited organizations such as the Ministry of Economic Development, CBC/Radio-Canada, and the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal. In the past, Ms. Goya has also sat on the boards of directors of Tourisme Montréal, the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, and Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal.
