A producer and entrepreneur for over 25 years, Marcel Gallant is a key figure in television production in Atlantic Canada. As the head of Connexions Productions, he has led numerous series across a wide range of genres fiction, documentary, youth, comedy, and music helping to showcase the creativity and craftsmanship of artists from the Maritime provinces. Known for his precision and collaborative vision, Marcel has successfully led several major co-productions between New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec, promoting a sustainable production model rooted in local realities. His recent projects include the series Bedaine (a dark superhero comedy created by Ryan Doucette) and Mont-Rouge (a police drama co-produced with Casablanca in Quebec). Driven by a constant desire to tell stories that reflect the diversity, culture, and beauty of Atlantic communities, Marcel brings his experience to supporting emerging talent, regional development, and a strong Francophone production industry.
