Marie Grégoire, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bibliothèque et Archives nationales du Québec (BAnQ), was appointed by the Council of Ministers on July 7, 2021, for a five-year term beginning on August 9, 2021, and ending on August 8, 2026. She also serves on the boards of Domaine Forget and the Carmand Normand Foundation. An experienced manager and communicator with an unconventional career path, Marie Grégoire has held several executive positions in major companies across the economic and social sectors. She is a founding partner of TACT Intelligence-conseil, now one of Quebec’s leading communications firms, and has also contributed her expertise to major corporations such as IBM, Bell, Desjardins, and Zoom Media. In addition to having taught at the Université du Québec à Montréal, she has written for various publications and contributed as an author. She notably participated in the relaunch of Premières en affaires, a business magazine highlighting women’s economic leadership. Deeply committed to her community, she has served on numerous boards, including the Montreal Heart Institute, and has worked with the Fondation pour l’alphabétisation and the Institut Pacifique. She currently sits on the boards of Domaine Forget and the Carmand Normand Foundation. From 2002 to 2003, Marie Grégoire served as Member of the National Assembly (MNA) for Berthier. As a radio and television columnist, she went on to become a prominent voice in Quebec’s media landscape for more than 15 years. On May 15, 2024, Marie Grégoire was elected President of the Réseau Francophone Numérique (RFN). In this role, she aims to foster collaboration among key stakeholders and strengthen the preservation and discoverability of Francophone content and culture in the digital sphere.
